Hall of Honor
Information as of 2017: Stacey Schmitt (Vogel) played volleyball for both longtime head coach Rusty Crick and current coach Dave Fleming during her tenure at Colorado Mesa. The Grand Junction native earned AVCA All-American and CoSIDA Academic All-American honors during her senior season in 2006. She was a three time captain of the team who earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and All-Region honors.
Schmitt played in three NCAA Regional Tournaments and still ranks in the top five in seven categories including career kills (1,434) and single season kills (576).
Schmitt graduated in 2007 from Mesa State College with a degree in Nursing and currently works at St. Mary's Medical Center.
