Information as of 2010:  Head Football Coach – Teacher - 1966-1979 – Coached MSC as a junior college and through the transition to Mesa State College and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (1975)…Four-time Intermountain Collegiate Athletic Conference (ICAC) title (1967, 1968, 1969, 1970)…In 1968 the team finished in a three-way tie for first place in the ICAC with Dixie and Ricks College…In 1967 the team was ranked No. 2 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)...Mesa’s first full season in the RMAC was 1976…RMAC Coach of the Year honors in 1977…Seven of his players went on to play professional football…Jack attended Wood River High School in Wood River, Illinois…Earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Northeast Missouri State University…Lettered in football and track & field.
