Women's Basketball
  • The Mavs, ranked 14th in last week's WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' Poll, extended their winning streak to seven as they opened up RMAC play with a pair of convincing road wins over UCCS and Colorado Christian.
  • The Mavs, now 10-1 overall and 2-0 in RMAC play, defeated UCCS, 73-47 on Thursday to avenge the Mountain Lions' 2025 RMAC Tournament Championship game win.
  • Mason Rowland scored a career-high 26 points on 10-for-20 shooting, while hitting four 3-pointers.
  • Olivia Reed Thyne also recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Jenna Krise added 14 points on 5-for-6 shooting.
  • Rowland then added 24 points while hitting six 3-pointers in Saturday afternoon's 78-43 win at Colorado Christian.
  • As a team, the Mavs lead the RMAC in both scoring defense (52.5) and scoring margin (+21.4).
  • Rowland (17.7) and Reed Thyne (16.5) rank second and fourth in the conference for scoring average while Reed Thyne is second in rebounding at 10.2, field goal percentage (.573) and blocked shots (1.4/game).
  • Rowland also ranks second in 3-point percentage (.429) and free throw percentage (.830).
  • Mykaela Moore leads the RMAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.4).
  • The Mavs have one game this week, hosting the Colorado School of Mines on Saturday at 1 p.m.
  • The Orediggers are currently 3-6 overall and 1-1 in RMAC play heading into a Thursday night game at Westminster.
Men's Basketball
  • The Mavericks (4-4, 1-1 RMAC) split their first two RMAC games of the season, falling 92-80 at UCCS on Thursday night before claiming a 57-43 win at Colorado Christian on Saturday afternoon in Lakewood.
  • Ty Allred scored 54 combined points on the weekend, tallying 23 while grabbing ten rebounds to record his third double-double of the year at UCCS.
  • Five Mavericks were in double figures in that game as Cohenj Gonzales scored 13 while Mason Honeyman added 11.  Ben Henderson and Clayton Jewell both had ten.
  • Allred then scored a career-high 31 points as the Mavs came from as many as 14 points down to win the low-scoring affair.
  • Allred also had 13 rebounds to tally his second double-double of the weekend.
  • Gonzales also had 11 points while Jewell had eight points and eight rebounds.
  • Allred leads the RMAC in rebounding (9.5 rpg) and is fourth in scoring (17.8).
  • The Mavericks will return home to face the Colorado School of Mines (4-6, 2-0 RMAC) on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Indoor Track & Field Women's Wrestling Men's Wrestling Swimming & Diving
  • The Mavericks will resume their season next week (Dec. 15-17) at the UNLV Invitational in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Seven teams are expected to compete in the 3-day prelims/finals meet.
  • The list includes Division I squads Cal Baptist, Pacific, UNLV, Tulane, Wyoming as well as Division II Alaska Fairbanks.
  • Guillaume Guth (100 Free) and Luka Samsonov (400 IM) continue to lead the nation in their respective events on the men's side.
  • Ada Qunell (200 Free), Olivia Hansson (1000 Free) and the 800 Free Relay team all lead the country on the women's.
  • Eleven Maverick divers have already secured a trip to the NCAA Division II Championship Pre-Qualification Meet.
  • The Maverick women are ranked fifth while the Maverick men are ranked sixth in the November edition of the CSCAA Division II Top 25 Dual Meet Polls, which were released prior to the Mavs' dominant performances at the TYR/CMU Invitational.
  • Both CMU squads sit second in the current Swimcloud NCAA Division II Dual Meet rankings.  The Maverick women are also second in the Swimcloud championship rankings while the Maverick men are ranked fourth.
