2024-25 (Sophomore): Earned All-America honors with a seventh place finish in the 125-pound bracket at the NCAA Division II National Championships… Had won the Super Regional VI title and was ranked fifth in the national rankings going into the NCAA Tournament… Defeated three nationally ranked wrestlers in his regional tournament run… Finished the year with a 23-8 overall record and went 9-2 in dual meets… Was 5-2 in conference duals… Had 17 bonus point victories, including six pins and seven technical falls… All eight of his losses were by decision… Finished fifth at the Midwest Classic… Named as a NWCA Scholar All-American… Was also voted on to the RMAC All-Academic First Team.

2023-24 (Freshman): Posted a 19-11 record and qualified for the NCAA Tournament as a true freshman… Went 1-2 at the national tournament after going 3-1 to finish third at the Super Regional VI Championships… Had a 7-3 dual meet record, including a 5-3 mark in RMAC duals… Had three pins and won 14 of his matches with bonus point margins… Took third in the Amateur Division of the Younes Hospitality UNK Open.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Richfield High School… Was a 4-time state champion for the Dustin Nielson coached Wildcats.

Personal: Is majoring in civil engineering… Son of Matt and Trinia Torgerson… Has three siblings— Dillon, Denim and Drexton.
