2025 Outdoor (Junior): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Recorded a seventh place finish in the hammer throw, a ninth place finish in the shot put and a 19
th place effort in the discus throw… Recorded three wins, a second and a third place finish in the other five meets in the hammer… Had a season-best and NCAA Championship provisional qualifying throw of 54.23 meters (177-11) at the Jo Meaker Classic & Multi…  Ranked fourth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list... Was ranked 35
th nationally… Tallied a shot put career-best of 12.51 meters (41-0.5) at the RMAC Championships… Ranks fourth in program history with that mark… Was 12
th on the RMAC list… Finished the year with a season-best discus throw effort of 44.20 meters (145-0) at Azusa Pacific’s Franson Last Chance meet… Ranked fourth in the RMAC with that effort… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Qualified for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for the second straight year.
2024-25 Indoor (Junior): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified for the conference meet in both throwing events, taking fourth in the weight throw and ninth in the shot put, the same places she had on the season-long performance lists… Earned a Second Team All-RMAC honor in the weight throw with her mark of 17.09 meters (56-1), just off her season-best and NCAA Championship provisional qualifying mark of 17.22 meters (56-6) from the Mountaineer Open at the start of the season… Was ranked 41st nationally with that throw… Won the weight throw in each of her first three meets before taking second, and sixth in her final two regular season meets… Competed in the shot put in four meets, recording a win and the ASU Qualifier and two second place finishes earlier in the season… Had a season-best of 12.38 meters (40-7.5) at the Mountaineer Open to rank fourth in program history before recording a mark of 12.19 meters (40-0) at the RMAC Championships… Named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
2024 Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Became the first ever Maverick women’s thrower to qualify for the national championships, doing so in the hammer throw after setting a school-record mark of 55.88 meters (183-4) at the Franson Last Chance Meet at Azusa Pacific… Went on to finish 17
th at the national championships with a throw of 50.44 meters (165-6)… Also made Maverick throwing history as the first woman to win a conference title, taking the RMAC Championship with a throw of 54.90 meters (180-1), which broke her own facility record… Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the hammer throw… Won that event at the Maverick Invite & Multi with a then school and facility record of 53.61 meters (175-11)… Also earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with a fifth place finish in the discus throw at the RMAC Championships… Went on to set a career-best of 45.12 meters (148-0) in that discipline at the Very Last, Last Chance Meet at Cal State LA… Ranks third in program history with that mark… Also qualified for the RMAC meet in the shot put, finishing 14
th… Had a career-best shot put mark of 12.35 meters (40-6.25) at the Maverick Invite #2… Named to the CSC Academic All-District® Team... Also earned recognition as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2023-24 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Claimed her first career USTFCCCA All-South Central Region honor… Contested the weigh throw at all six and the shot put at four… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with a fifth place finish in the weight throw at the conference meet… Had a mark of 15.85 meters (5-0) there… Smashed the school-record by more than four feet with a heave of 17.63 meters (57-10.25) at the season-opening Mountaineer Open… Was ranked fourth in the conference, fifth in the region and 29th in the nation with that NCAA provisional qualifying mark… Won the weight throw at Western Colorado Open while placing in the top three four times… Had a season-best shot put effort of 11.98 meters (39-3.75) at the Mines Winter Classic & Multi… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2023 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in each of the team’s first four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified for the conference meet in all three of her disciplines, placing 13
th in both the shot put and hammer throw and 18
th in 2the discus throw… Had a season-best hammer throw mark of 42.46 meters (139-4) at the RMAC Championships... Had a season-best discus throw of 40.50 meters (132-10), a mark that she set en-route to a third place finish at the Maverick Invite… Also finished fourth in the shot put at that meet with a season-best mark of 11.64 meters (38-2.25).
2022-23 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets, qualifying for the RMAC Championships in the weight throw… Had a season-best throw of 15.13 meters (49-7.75) at the Western Colorado Alumni Open to do so before fouling on all three attempts at the conference meet... Also had a season-best shot put mark of 10.88 meters (35-8.5) at the Western Colorado Alumni Open.
Prep: 2022 graduate of Battle Mountain High School… Coached by Eric Hess… Was the Huskies’ Track MVP in 2022 and the school's Athlete of the Year award-winner in 2021-22… Set the school’s discus record… Finished fourth in the discus and eighth in the shot put at the State Championships as a senior… Also successfully defended her league titles in both… Claimed nine total meet victories throughout her senior season, setting PRs of 36-1 (shot put) and 126-10 (discus) as well… Placed second in the discus and fifth in the shot put at the 2021 state championships as a junior... Was in the National Honor Society from 2020-22.
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice and social work… Plans to work as a social worker in the VA and also with juveniles… Daughter of Adeline Medina and Craig Hancock… Enjoys baking, cooking, weightlifting and spending time with family and friends.
