Colorado Mesa University Athletics

2023-24: Was named as the RMAC’s Co-Freshman of the Year after leading the team in wins with 26 (26-11)… Placed third in the 109-pound bracket at the RMAC Championships before taking second at the NCWWC Region VI Championships to earn a spot in the national tournament, where she went 2-2, while falling just one win shy of all-America honors… Went 9-5 in dual meets and recorded seven wins by fall and another 12 by technical fall… Won both the Maverick Open and Fort Hays State Bob Smith Open titles…. Placed seventh at the Missouri Valley Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wrestled for the Bears of Basha High School and coaches Michael Garcia and Eric Torya…Three-time State Placer and earned the most pins during the season in two consecutive years…Two-time All-American.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in Business Entrepreneurship…Daughter of Lorraine and James Gomez…Has one sibling, James…Chose CMU for the academic and athletic programs….Enjoys trying and eating different foods and the outdoors.
