GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.— The Colorado Mesa University men's and women's swimming teams led all NCAA Division II programs with a school-record smashing 39 total College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-Americans, recently announced by the organization.
The Maverick men had 22 honorees while the women had 17.
This marks the third straight year that the Mavericks have led or co-led Division II.
The former program record was 33, set two years ago.
To qualify for first team honors, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2025 spring semester and participated in their national championship. Second team honorees must have earned a 3.5 or higher GPA and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for their diving qualification meet.
Thirteen Maverick men and twelve women were first team honorees, who helped the Mavs to top-10 finishes at the NCAA Division II National Championships.
