Why I Chose CMU: “I have dreamed since I was a child that I would go to university in the USA like my mother. I chose CMU because it is an ideal place to study combined with sports. There is also a much bigger team than I was used to from home. The biggest factor in choosing a university, however, was the coach's personality and his approach to swimming. Mickey Wender impressed me from the beginning.”
