2024-25 (Freshman): Swam in eight meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II Championships… Earned a First Team CSCAA All-America honor in the 100 Back, placing sixth in a personal-best time of 54.17 seconds… Ranks third in program-history with that time, which put her second on the season-long RMAC performance list behind only national champion and national record-setting teammate Agata Naskret… Also contested the 200 IM and 200 Back at the NCAA meet finishing 29th and 32nd, respectively… Claimed the silver medal and First Team All-RMAC honors behind Naskret in the 100 Back at the RMAC Championships… Also claimed a Second Team All-RMAC honor in the 200 IM, placing fourth with a personal-best altitude-adjusted time of 2:05.26… Ranks tenth in program history and was fourth on the RMAC list with that time… Also reached the RMAC final in the 200 Back, placing seventh… Won the consolation final in the 100 Fly with a personal-best time of 57.35 (adjusted)… Swam the lead-off leg on CMU’s “B” heat winning 200 Medley, 400 Medley and 200 Free Relays… Set a personal-best 50 Free time of 23.81 during the relay… Set career-best and other NCAA “B” cut times of 51.76 (100 Free) and 2:02.79 (200 Back) at the TYR CMU Invitational… Set her NCAA qualifying time of 54.30 in the 100 Back at that meet to place second… Was ranked second in the RMAC with a time of 58.07 in the 100 IM, a non-championship event, set at the UNLV Invitational… Was ranked ninth in the RMAC in the 200 Back… Was named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Olympus High School… Took second in both the 100 Back and 100 Free at the state meet as a senior… Was a 4-time top-3 finisher in the 100 Back, taking second in 2022 as well while finishing third in both 2021 and 2023… Helped the Titans win three team titles (2021, 2022, 2024) in her prep career.

Club: Won the 2023 Utah State Short Course title in the 100 Back with a personal-best time of 55.72 seconds while representing Olympus Aquatics… Had won the 50-meter Back and 100m Free at the 2018 Utah State Championships… Also won the 50 Back at the 2019 Far Western Championships.

Personal: Is majoring in social work… Wants to become a licensed therapist to help people with any struggles they may be going through… Daughter of Heather and Joe Hooton… Has two younger siblings— Austin and Kacey…  Likes to cook, travel, read and hike.
