Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I wanted to go to a school that provides both great academic opportunities and also a swim team that has a good work ethic and team environment. I found that CMU offered both of these, and even exceeded expectations concerning the swim team. I am very excited to be surrounded by athletes who are all working towards becoming both better athletes and people overall. While I am not sure exactly what career I want to do for the rest of my life, I know that whatever I do, I want to be able to continue learning and growing after graduating. Being a little bit of a nerd, having the ability to continue to learn is extremely important to me. And while I may not know exactly what that looks like yet, I am excited to find out these next few years at CMU.”
