2024-25 (As a Junior): Swim in ten meets, including the RMAC Championships… Scored in all six of her events at the RMAC Championships after setting a multitude of NCAA provisional qualifying and personal-best times at the mid-season TYR CMU Invitational… Claimed the bronze medal and a Second Team All-RMAC honor in the 200 IM… Reached the consolation final in her other three individual events, placing 12
th in both the 100 Fly and 100 Breast and 16
th in the 200 Breast… Swam the second leg (breaststroke) on the Mavs’ “B” heat winning 200 & 400 Medley Relays at the RMAC Championships… Scored 68 team points in her individual events and 78 overall to help lead the Mavs to a seventh straight team title… Had a break-out meet at the TYR CMU Invitational, setting NCAA “B” cut altitude-adjusted marks of 1:02.91 (100 Breast), 2:19.56 (200 Breast) and 2:04.93 (200 IM) during that meet… Ranks fourth in program history for the 100 Breast and sits ninth in CMU lore for the 200 Breast and 200 IM with those times…. Was ranked amongst the RMAC’s top ten on the season-long performance list in three championship events… Was third in the 200 IM, fourth in the 100 Breast, sixth in the 200 Breast… Also had the RMAC’s top 100 IM time of the entire season (57.26) from the UNLV Finis Invitational, where she also set a personal-best time of 57.10 in the 100 Fly… Was named as a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American… Was also named on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season.
2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Set a personal-best and three other season-bests as an exhibition swimmer at the conference meet… Had PB’s of 4:42.50 (400 IM)… Set season-bests of 1:06.01 (100 Breast), 2:09.44 (200 IM) and a 100 Fly best of 1:02.56, which was extracted from her 400 IM effort… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2022-23 (As a Freshman): Swam in the Intermountain Shootout, her lone meet of the season… Had altitude-adjusted times of 2:03.18 (200 free), 1:02.48 (100 back) and 2:17.03 (200 IM).
Prep: 2022 graduate of Leesville Road High School… Was a 4-time North Carolina 4A state qualifier… Helped the Pride to an undefeated and 2019 state title winning season… Won two CAP 6 Conference titles in the 100 breaststroke… Was a 4-time top-3 finisher at the East Regional in that and the 200 IM… Won the regional 100 breast title with a PB time of 1:06.15 as a senior in 2021-22.
Club: Was a 4-time national team qualifier for tye YMCA of the Triangle Area (YOTA)... Coached by Jamie Bloom.
Personal: Is majoring in marketing… Wants to help lead and innovate the medical field in sales related to devices that prolong life as well as improve the quality of life while understanding the qualifications of medical treatment and pharmaceutical career... Daughter of Jennifer and Derek Speerschneider... Has three siblings-- Zach, Ella and Tate.
