2024-25 (Sophomore): Swim in seven meets… Set multiple personal bests at the mid-season TYR CMU Invitational… Recorded NCAA “B” Cut altitude-adjusted times of 2:00.23 (200 Breast) and 3:57.89 (400 IM) at that meet… Also had other personal-bests of 56.34 (100 Breast), 54.42 (100 Fly) and 1:50.56 (200 IM) at that meet… Was ranked ninth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list in the 200 Breast… Was tabbed as a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American… Also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll while helping the Mavs win the RMAC Brechler Award for having the highest team GPA in the conference.
2023-24 (Freshman): Swam in five meets… Recorded multiple season-bests as an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships turning in altitude-adjusted marks of 1:41.28 (200 Free), 4:39.88 (500 Free), 2:03.79 (200 Breast), 1:52.32 (200 IM) and 4:01.64 (400 IM).
Prep: 2023 graduate of Montrose High School… Finished fourth in both the 100 and 200 free at the 2023 Colorado 4A State Championships for the Red Hawks.
Personal: Is majoring in biology… Aspires to become a physician’s assistant… Son of Pamela and Stephen Motley… Has one older sibling— Nels.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I saw the amazing teams they have here and the communities that come with them and I wanted to join them as well. It is also very affordable and has many major to choose from.”
