Summer 2026: Represented his home country of Germany at the Dutch National Championship and European Trials in July, 2026 in Amersfoort, Netherlands… Finished third in both the 200 and 400 IM and sixth in the 50 Breast… Placed fourth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 200 Back at the German Championships in April, 2026.
2025-26 (As a Sophomore): Swam in seven meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned a trio of First Team CSCAA All-America honors thanks to his efforts at the national meet… Helped the Mavs place third in the 800 free relay with a school-record setting time of 6:19.80… Also finished sixth in the 400 IM and eighth in the 200 IM… Set a career-best time of 1:45.34 in the 200 IM to rank second in program history… Had a time of 3:46.70 in the 400 IM prelims to also stand second in CMU history… Also qualified for the NCAA meet in the 500 and 100 frees, placing 29
th and 36
th, respectively… Had a strong RMAC Championship meet, winning three conference titles and the same number of First Team All-RMAC honors… Swept the individual medley titles, winning the 200 in 1:48.44 and the 400 in 3:54.81… Also helped the Mavs set a RMAC Championship and El Pomar Natatorium record time of 6:47.43 in the 800 free relay… Also reached the championship finals in the 100 and 500 free, placing sixth in the 100 and seventh in the 500… Was on the Mavs’ “B” 400 free relay team that won the “B” heat to finish ninth… Scored 65 team points in his four individual events and another 14 ½ when including his share of the relay points… Set NCAA “B” cut and season-best times of 44.26, 1:35.57 and 4:24.05 in the 100, 200 and 500 Free during the TYR/CMU Invitational… Ranks ninth in CMU history for the 100, fourth for the 200 and fourth for the 500… Was named as the RMAC’s Academic Athlete of the Year before claiming Third Team College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors… Was also named as a CSCAA First Team Scholar All-American and to the First Team Academic All-RMAC squad.
2024-25 (As a Freshman): Competed in eight meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned a Second Team All-America honor in the 400 IM, placing 12
th in 3:53.74… Also placed 29
th in the 100 Breast (57.62), 34
th in the 500 Free (4:32.99) and 41
st in the 200 IM (1:51.00)… Scored in all five of his events at the RMAC Championships, placing seventh in the 400 IM, ninth in the 200 Breast and tenth in the 200 IM while helping the Mavs’ close out the meet with a “B” heat win in the 4x400-meter relay… Set a personal-best 200 Breast time of 2:04.69 (altitude-adjusted) at the RMAC meet… Set his NCAA qualifying marks in both IM events at the TYR CMU Invitational… Placed second in the 400 IM with his altitude-adjusted time of 3:51.22… Also set a national qualifying and season-best time of 1:48.44 in a 200 IM time trial… Also posted a similar time of 55.28 in a 100 Breast time trial… Set other personal bests of 53.93 (100 Fly) and 1:52.69 (200 Fly) at that meet… Went on to set his NCAA “B” cut time of 4:32.50 in the 500 Free at the UNLV Finis Invitational… Won the 400 IM at the Nov. 2 dual at Division I Denver… Was named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Prep: Graduated from Wirtemberg Gymansium… Took eighth in the 400-meter individual medley at the 2022 German Short Course Championships while representing Schwimmverein (SV) Cannstatt 1898… Set a personal-best time of 4:35.11 in that event to take second at the 2023 Berlin Swim Open.
Personal: Is majoring in mechanical engineering… Aspires to manage his own team.
