Women's Basketball
  • The Mavs, ranked 11th nationally in the latest WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches Poll, will begin the 2026 portion of the season when they host Regis on Saturday at 1 p.m.
  • The Mavericks, 13-1 overall and 3-0 in RMAC play will enter the game as winners of ten straight.
  • A win would move the Mavs into a first place tie in the RMAC standings with Adams State at 4-0.  The Mavs will play at Adams State next week (Jan. 10).
  • Regis is 0-6 overall and 0-3 in conference play this year.
  • Olivia Reed Thyne won her fourth defensive and fifth overall RMAC Player of the Week honor of the season last Monday.
  • She leads the RMAC and ranks amongst the nation's top eight players in points (260), rebounds (148) and double-doubles (7) this season.
  • The Mavs are ranked second in the national statistics for field goal percentage defense (31.7), seventh for scoring margin (+22.9) and eighth for assists per game (17.8).
  • The Mavs finished the 2025 calendar year with a combined 31-3 record, recording 18 and 10-game winning streaks in the two seasons.
Men's Basketball
  • The Mavs will begin 2026 on Saturday hosting Regis at 3 p.m. in Brownson Arena.
  • CMU is currently 6-5 overall and 2-1 in RMAC play.
  • Regis is 1-8 overall and 0-3 in the RMAC.
  • Ty Allred swept both the RMAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors last Monday.
  • He is leading the Mavs in both scoring (17.5 ppg) and rebounding (9.4 rpg).
  • He leads the RMAC in rebounding and is ranked fourth in scoring.
  • The Mavs went a combined 19-9 during the 2025 calendar year.
