Swimming & Diving Women's Wrestling Women's Basketball
  • The Mavs, ranked 13th nationally in last week's WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches Poll, extended their winning streak to eight and will go into 2026 with a 3-0 record in RMAC play after recording an 86-47 win over the Colorado School of Mines on Saturday.
  • The game was their only one of the week last week.
  • The Mavs are now 11-1 overall heading into this weekend's games at the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawk Classic Nampa, Idaho.
  • Three Mavs scored over 20 points in the 39-point win, the largest in the rivalry since 1991.
  • They are 3-0 at home this season, winning those three games by 29, 39 and 39 points.
  • Olivia Reed scored 28 points and grabbed ten rebounds to record her fifth double-double of the season.
  • Mykaela Moore also recorded her first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, both of which are new career-highs.
  • Mason Rowland scored 23 points and has poured in more than 20 in each of her last three.
  • She was named as the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week last Monday.
  • The Mavs shot 52.2 percent (36-69) from the field and held Mines to 26.9 percent (14-52) shooting.
  • CMU had a 17-0 run in the first quarter and led 21-8 after ten minutes.
  • The Mavericks also went on a 21-0 run in the third and fourth quarters.
  • CMU will take on a pair of GNAC (Great Northwest Athletic Conference) foes this weekend.  They will play tournament host Northwest Nazarene (4-3) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday before playing Seattle Pacific (3-6) at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Men's Basketball
  • Ben Henderson scored a season-high 20 points to lead the Mavs to their fourth win in the last five outings, 81-73 over visiting Colorado School of Mines on Saturday in Brownson Arena.
  • The Mavericks (5-4, 2-1 RMAC) are now 3-0 at home this season.
  • The Mavs had a 17-0 run late in the first half and recorded another 14-0 run in the second to build a 61-41 lead with ten minutes left.
  • Mason Honeyman added 17 points off the bench and made all ten of his free throw attempts.
  • The Mavs were 88.9 percent (16-18) from the line as a team.
  • Ty Allred scored 12 points and led the Mavs with eight rebounds.
  • Jaylen Pittman also came off the bench to score 10 points for the Mavs.
  • The Mavs set season-highs for steals (9) and blocked shots (7) and held the Orediggers to 35.1 percent (20-57) shooting.
  • CMU will wrap up the 2025 portion of the season with a pair of non-conference games at the Great Western Shootout on Friday and Saturday.
  • They will take on tournament host Western Washington (5-7) at 4:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. MST) on Friday in North Las Vegas, Nevada at the Coyote Event Center on the campus of the College of Southern Nevada.
  • They will then play Simon Fraser (4-6) at 6:45 p.m. (7:45 p.m. MST) on Saturday.
