COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Seven Colorado Mesa University Maverick men's track & field athletes combined to earn nine All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference awards for the 2025-26 indoor season, the conference recently announced in conjunction with the league's major awards, decided by a vote of the conference's head coaches following the completion of the season.
The all-conference honors were strictly based on the individual finishes at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships with first team honors going to the top three and podium finishers in each individual event plus members of the winning relay teams.
Second Team All-RMAC honors go to the fourth through sixth place finishers in each event and to the members of the runner-up relay teams.
CMU sprinters led the list of Maverick honorees as
Teo Casados and
Joseph Randolph won RMAC titles in the 60 and 200 meters, respectively.
Marik Cummings also claimed a first team honor with a second place finish in the 60 meters while Randolph added a second team honor in the 60 with a fourth place finish.
Freshman
Asa Keim also picked a pair of honors, claiming first team accolades with a third place finish in the pole vault while adding a second honor in the heptathlon after finishing sixth in that discipline.
Amaris Mora was also a second team honoree in the 60 meters with a sixth place finish as four Mavericks combined to score 26 team points in that event alone.
Freshman
Vasileios Salpas also added a second team honor with a fourth place finish in the 800 while
Hayden Moreno grabbed a second team plaudit in the long jump with a fourth place effort.
As a team the Maverick men finished third in the team standings at the RMAC Championships with 65 points.
The Maverick women also combined to win ten all-conference awards.
