2025 Outdoor (Freshman): Contested the long jump in four meets… Had a wind-aided season-best effort of 7.02 meters (+2.0; 23-0.5) at the Maverick Invitational… Was ranked sixth on the RMAC season-long performance list… Had an official season-best of 7.00 meters (22-11.75) just a week later at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi… Ranks tenth in program history… Finished seventh at the RMAC Championships with a mark of 6.92 meters (22-8.5) to score a pair of team points.
2024-25 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the long jump at five of them, including the conference meet, where he finished 17th… Also ran the 60 meters on three occasions at two meets… Had a season-best of 7.01 meters (23-0) at the season-opening Mountaineer Open (Dec. 7)… Ranks ninth in program history with that effort… Was 11
th on the RMAC’s season-long performers list… Finished second in that meet and amongst the top three at his first three meets… Placed 17
th at the conference meet (6.19m/20-3.75)… Had a season-best time of 7.19 seconds in the 60 meters at the ASU Qualifier #1.
Prep: 2024 graduate of North Fork High School… Coached by Kelly Cowan… Was named as the 2024 3A Western Slope Male Athlete of the Year after winning league crows in the long jump and 200 meters while taking second in the 400… Went on to place second at the state championships in the long jump with a mark of 21-8… Set a PR of 22-4.5 to win the league title, one of five long jump victories in seven meets during his senior year… Also had PR times of 22.43 and 49.63 in the 200 & 400 at the league meet for the Miners… Had also won the league title in the long jump before placing fifth at the state meet as a junior in 2023… Took third at the league meet and 15
th at state as a sophomore.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Aspires to be an athletic trainer to help rehabilitate injured athletes… Son of Melanie State… Has four siblings— Morgan, Alexis, Isaiah and Hunter… Enjoys outdoor activities.
