  • They tied St. Mary's 1-1 on Thursday night in San Antonio before falling 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at St. Edward's in Austin.

  • CMU will play a pair of challenging, undefeated and National Top 10 RMAC foes in non-conference match-ups this week.  They play at UCCS (5-0-1) on Thursday night (7 p.m.) in Colorado Springs  before returning home to face Fort Lewis (currently 3-0-3) in their home-opener on Sunday at 3 p.m.  UCCS was ranked eighth nationally in last week's United Soccer Coaches' Poll while Fort Lewis was ranked ninth.

  • Maverick setter Sabrina VanDeList broke CMU's all-time records for assists and service aces over the weekend while also eclipsing the 1,000 career dig milestone.  She now has 156 career service aces, going past Drew Choules (153, 2004-07) early in Friday's win over Western Colorado.  VanDeList, who now has 4,220 career assists, then broke Jordyn Moody's record (4,202; 2011-14) on Saturday while also becoming just the 13th Maverick to go over the 1,000 dig milestone.  She is also the first CMU player to ever have both 4,000 assists and 1,000 digs.
  • After going 5-1 at home over the last two weeks, the Mavs are on the road for their next three matches, starting Friday in a potential RMAC-title deciding match-up against MSU Denver (9-1, 2-0 RMAC), ranked second in last week's AVCA Poll.
  • The Mavs then play at Colorado School of Mines (4-6, 1-1 RMAC) on Sunday in Golden before heading back home and then west to Salt Lake City, Utah for a Tuesday, Oct. 1 clash at Westminster (6-3, 2-0 RMAC), who will also be on the road in Denver this weekend.
