As a Redshirt Junior (2024): Led the Mavericks in two meets during her first full season of cross country after only dabbling in it before… Has always focused on the 800 meters in track & field… Placed a career-best 18
th with a career-best time of 22:28.0 at the Roadrunners Invitational before leading the team with a strong 28
th place finish in a field of 340 at the Lewis Crossover Invitational… Helped the Mavericks qualify for their first NCAA Championship in ten years and just the second time in program history, taking 88
th at the South Central Regional Championships… Was third on the team and 153
rd overall at the national championships… Was voted on to the RMAC First Team All-Academic Team as one of only seven CMU women to ever earn that accolade.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2023): Finished 24
th at the Gig Leadbettter Maverick Stampede, her lone race of the season… Posted a 5K time of 22:23.9... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2022): Started, but did not finish at the NCAA D2 Pre-Nationals meet, her only meet of the season.. RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.
As a Freshman (2021): Redshirt season... Competed unattached at CMU's home meet, the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede... Placed 17th with a 5K time of 20:36.72.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Homer High School… Was a 3-time Alaska State runner-up in the 800 meters while running for the Mariners… Had a PR of 2:26… Also helped the Mariners win the state title in the 4x400-meter relay as a senior… Has a PR of 5:37 in the 1600 and 19:54 in the 5K… Finished 15
th at the 2019 Alaska State XC Championships in 2019 after taking ninth in 2018 and fourth in 2017.
Personal: Is majoring in nursing… Aspires to continue her education after her nursing degree to study anesthesia and become a nurse anesthetist… Daughter of Dan & Sarah Miller… Has one younger sibling—Beau.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the location and because it had my major and I also loved the campus and I have the opportunity to run track.”
