She also leads the conference in walks with 38 and is tied for second with 117 total bases. She is tied for third in total hits (65) and fourth with 13 home runs as well.
Herring leads the conference in shutouts (8) and has posted a stellar 19-3 record and 2.33 ERA as the Mavericks' No. 1 pitcher. She has also held opponents to a .194 batting average, the second best mark in the conference.
The Mavericks finished the regular season by winning 27 of their final 28 games and are 42-7 overall while currently holding down the No. 11 spot in the NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll. They went 35-4 in RMAC play winning by 5 ½ games over Colorado Christian. The Mavericks also led the conference in all three phases of the game hitting .359 and fielding at a .972 clip.
