As a Redshirt Senior (2021): Earned First Team All-RMAC and Second Team All-South Central Region honors from both the NFCA and D2CCA for the second time in her career… Named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 and to the First Team RMAC All-Academic teams as well… Started all 44 of the Mavs’ games in center field… Was the team’s lead-off hitter in three-fourths (33) of those… Hit second in the lineup in the other 11… Finished the year with .413 batting (52-126), .627 slugging and .562 on-base percentages… Led all of Division II in runs per game (1.52) after scoring a RMAC-leading 67, the second highest gross total in the country and the fifth highest single-season total in program history… Her on-base percentage was the 12
th highest in Division II and was second in the RMAC behind only teammate Lauren Wedman (.570)… Her mark was also the third highest in program history… Drew a RMAC-leading 35 walks to rank eighth nationally in walks per game (0.80)… Was hit by eight pitches to finish in a tie for sixth in the RMAC for that category… Stole 19 bases, tied for second most in the RMAC, on 25 attempts… Had five sacrifice bunts… Had 13 extra-base hits, including six doubles and seven home runs… Finished with 16 multiple-hit games, recording three hits in four of them… Had three home runs on Apr. 18 against UCCS to become just the second of now three Mavericks to ever hit three in the same game… Scored ten runs while cranking out eight hits and driving in seven runs during the 4-game series with the Mountain Lions to earn RMAC Player of the Week honors on Apr. 20… Had six multiple-RBI games.
As a Senior (2020): Played in all 22 of CMU's games during the COVID-19 shortened season, starting 21 of them, including 12 at center field and nine at second base... Was second on the team and 11th in the RMAC with her .420 batting average, recording 29 hits in 69 at bats... Had hits in 19 different games, recording multiple hits in nine to share the team lead... Scored 22 runs, 11th most in the RMAC, while driving in 13... Stole a team-high eight bases in as many attempts... HIt four doubles and two home runs to finish with a .565 slugging percentage... Also drew nine walks and one hit by pitch to finish with a .488 on-base percentage... Was perfect in 53 total defensive chances... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Junior (2019): Earned First Team All-RMAC honors after a solid debut season with the Mavericks... Was also a Second Team All-South Central pick by both the NFCA and D2CCA... Started all 56 of the Mavs' games in the outfield... Made 48 starts in center field and eight in left... Hit .378, recording 62 hits in 164 at bats... Scored 65 runs to be tied for the RMAC lead with teammate Kellie Mrofcza... Was third on the team for batting average... Had 19 doubles, two triples and four home runs to finish with a .591 slugging percentage... Was tied for fifth in the RMAC for doubles... Also drew 36 walks and was hit a team-high 12 times to aid a solid .516 on-base percentage from her lead-off spot in the lineup... Was second in the RMAC for walks and on-base percentage behind only teammate and RMAC Player of the Year AnnMarie Torres... Struck out just 12 times... Stole 17 bases without being caught... Reached base safely in each of the team's final 29 games.
Before CMU: Hit .345 with eight home runs and 39 RBIs as a sophomore with the Western Nebraska Community College Cougars in 2018… Also stole 15 bases and scored 49 runs in 53 games… Had a .424 on-base percentage and .579 slugging percentage… Had 16 doubles… Hit .389 with 16 doubles, four home runs as a freshman at Iowa Western Community College in 2017… Drove in 40 runs for the Reivers... Also stole 15 bases and scored 47 runs in 44 games played… Helped the team to a 36-14 overall record and a Region XI Championship game appearance… Earned First Team Academic All-Region honors.
Prep: Was an all-conference and all-state player at Legend High School… Graduated in 2016.
Club: Played summer all for Colorado Angels 18u Gold squad and Coach John Waller.
Personal: Is majoring in secondary education… Parents are Shelly Boyd, Scott Boyd and Jason Doumer… Wants to become a high school psychology teacher and possibly end up coaching.
Why I Chose CMU: “I Chose to come to CMU because it fits my academic aspirations as well as our outstanding softball program.”
