School Records GOLDEN, COLO. – The Colorado Mesa University throwers rewrote the record book breaking all four throwing school records at the Colorado School of Mines Twilight Saturday (Jan. 23).
Trevor Jensen rewrote his own record in the weight throw by over four feet with a mark of 53-0 to finish second. He earned his second school record of the evening in the shot put with a throw of 49-3.25 to place second.
Deziree Lipsett broke the weight throw school record by more than a foot with a toss of 49-10 to finish third.
Danielle Pickert reset the shot put school record with a toss of 39-0 to place fourth.
Gabriella Casey tied her own school record in the pole vault with a jump of 10-8 to place fourth.
John Cusick flirted with the school record in the 3,000 finishing third in a time of 9:07.55.
Guillermo Cuevas finished fifth in a time of 9:10.42.
Bacall Sterling finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 38-1.5.
Quincey Pedersen finished fourth in the high jump (5-1), and
Ryan Reasoner tied for sixth in the pole vault (13-3.75).
Alexia Chapman was seventh in the mile (5:33.62), and
McKayla Thomas was eighth in the 60 hurdles (9.45).
Colorado Mesa will return to Colorado Mines next weekend Jan. 29
