NCAA Veterans & Debuts
Half of the Maverick contingent will be making their NCAA Championship debuts while two others will be competing in an individual event for the first time.
Meanwhile, Maverick sprinters
Teo Casados and
Joseph Randolph are NCAA Championship veterans after also representing the Mavs in the 200 meters at this year's NCAA indoor meet in March. Casados finished seventh after placing 15
th at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Randolph was disqualified for a lane violation at the indoor meet and also competed in four straight national championship indoor and outdoor meets at the NAIA level in his first two collegiate seasons at Olivet Nazarene University.
Relay teammates
Marik Cummings and
Amaris Mora as well as javelin thrower
Izaak Siefken will be making their NCAA Championship debuts this week.
On the women's side, all three qualified Mavs will be competing in an NCAA Championship individual event for the first time in their respective careers.

Hannah Schissler will be making her NCAA Championship debut.
Program-Record Honors
The Mavericks set a program-record by earning 16 all-region honors, bestowed by the USTFCCCA last week.
All-region honors are given to the top five individuals from each of the nation's eight regions in each of the individual events and to members of the top three relay teams from each region. The rankings are based on the season-long performers lists.
A dozen different Maverick athletes were recognized with
