Dylan Everett was named as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week, it was announced by conference officials on Thursday.
Everett posted under par rounds of 69 and 67 and finished the 36-hole tournament score with a career-best score of 136 (-8) at the Powder Horn Golf Club in Sheridan, Wyoming His second round score of 67 also matched his career-best.
Everett made two eagles and nine birdies throughout the tournament and led the Mavericks to a 3-shot team win with score of 563, equal to the sixth lowest for a 36-hole tournament in program history.
The Mavericks will next host the San Juan Intercollegiate presented by Timberline Bank next Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 22-23) at Bridges Golf & Country Club in Montrose. Shotgun starts are slated for 8:30 each morning.
