Box Score AZUSA, Calif.— William Leschig and Henry Scheck won another main draw doubles match while Emil Hultman advanced to the consolation singles draw final to lead the Colorado Mesa University tennis teams on Day 2 of the ITA West Regional Championships on Friday here at Azusa Pacific University's Munson and Bavougian Tennis Complex.
 
Leschig and Scheck won their quarterfinal over Menlo's Ian Ramiro Perez Rodriguez and Henry Riccioni-Brown by an 8-4 margin but fell in the semifinals by an 8-5 score to David Fisinger and Andrew Suver of Point Loma Nazarene.
 
Meanwhile, Hultman beat Leschig in the consolation quarterfinals by an 8-4 score and then received a free pass to Saturday's draw final after his opponent defaulted earlier on Friday.
 
Hultman had defeated Westmont's Goor Adiv, 8-3 on Thursday while Leschig got by another Westmont man in Jarrett Navarat by an 8-4 score.  They then both received byes in the Round of 16 before meeting in the quarterfinals.
 
Scheck also played a consolation match in the round of 16 on Friday, falling to Fresno Pacific's Cedric Kaufman, 8-6 after defeating Hawai'i Pacific's Finnegan Heber, 6-0, 6-4 on Thursday.
 
On the women's side Jade Brilhante and Jane Steur both lost in the Round of 16 of the consolation singles draw on Friday after recording wins on Thursday.
