Box Score FRESNO, Calif.— Colorado Mesa University's William Leschig and Diogo Manzano continued their successful runs through the consolation portion of the men's singles draw at the ITA West Regional Championships with Saturday wins in the only two Maverick matches of the day.

Leschig defeated Fresno Pacific's Sven Bangert by a 6-0, 6-4 margin to claim his fourth straight win in the consolation semifinal round while Manzano got by Biola's Callen Hein, who retired due to injury, in the other semifinal.  Manzano was dominating Hein, 6-1, 5-0 at the time.

The two Mavs then decided not to play each other in the consolation final as the team began heading back to Colorado.

The CMU men have now wrapped up the fall portion of their season.  CMU's women will close out the fall hosting CSU Pueblo in a dual next Saturday (Sept. 30) at 9 a.m. on the Elliott Tennis Center courts.
