HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Colorado Mesa golfer Kyle Pearson qualified for the CoBank Colorado Open on Wednesday after firing a 63 at DU Golf Club.
 
Pearson, a redshirt junior for the Mavericks, carded eight birdies in his bogey-free round. In 2017, he won the Colorado Junior Match Play Championship.
 
Next week's Colorado Open will be played at Green Valley Golf Club in northeast Denver. The Open has one more qualifying tournament before commencing on July 23.
