No. 12 Colorado Mesa will play its final road series of the year this week at Colorado Christian April 22-23. 

Academic Player of the Year
McKenzie Surface was named the RMAC Academic Player of the Year. Surface, who has a 3.9 GPA in psychology, leads the league with a 2.0 earned run average and 134 strikeouts.
Brooke Hodgson and Kaila Jacobi joined Surface on the Academic First Team. 

Offensive Power
Colorado Mesa ranks in the top-five nationally in five different categories; second in batting average (.385), second in on-base percentage (.461), second in slugging percentage (.609), third in scoring (8.43) and fifth in homeruns per game (1.25). 

Streak Ends
Colorado Mesa's 24 game winning streak came to end after 24 games after a 2-1 loss at Regis on April 14. 

Batting Average
Colorado Mesa has five players ranked in the top-10 in the league in batting average; Brooke Hodgson second (.480), Kellie Mrofcza fourth (.438), AnnMarie Torres fifth (.423), Maggie Manwarren seventh (.419) and Kaila Jacobi eighth (.407).
