2018 (Junior): Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors at shortstop... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Played and started in 52 of team's 53 games at that position... Hit .356 (57-160) with five home runs and 43 RBIs... Had 19 extra-base hits, including 12 doubles... Scored 45 runs... Had 20 walks and was 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts... Made just six errors, while fielding at a .961 clip... Had 16 multiple-hit and 11 multiple-RBI games... Had three 3-hit games, including two at Adams State... Drove in four runs on a 2-for-2 day with a home run against Colorado Christian.
2017 (Sophomore): Picked up Honorable Mention All-American from the D2CCA as a utility player Was a First Team All-South Central Region region by that organization... Earned second team all-region honors from the NFCA... Earned First Team All-RMAC accolades.. RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... First Team D2CCA All-South Central First-Team honoree...D2CCA South Central Second-Team...Started 53 games, primarily in left field... Hit .364 (44-121) with eight home runs and 41 RBIs... Was 5-7 on stolen base attempts... Recorded nine multi-hit games...Drove in a season-high five runs in win at Chadron State... Batted a perfect 4-for-4 win win over UCCS.
2016 (Freshman): Appeared in 43 games, starting 39 in the outfield...Hit. 314 (33-105) with a .411 on-base percentage...Hit first career home run at UCCS...Drove in 19 runs and scored 32 runs...Was walked 17 times, second most on the team... Stole seven bases...Recorded eight multi-hit games.
Prep: Was a First Team All-Pikes Peak Athletic Conference player for the Vista Ridge HS Wolves, coached by her father Brent, during all four years of her high school career... Graduated in 2015... Was the
Colorado Springs Gazette All-Area Player of the Year as a senior in the fall of 2014... Also earned CHSAA First Team All-State honors that year after picking up honorable mention plaudits as a junior... Was a Gazette Peak Performer of the Year as a senior... Started all 82 games of high school career, racking up a career batting average of .566 and career on-base percentage of .639.. Had 434 strikeouts as a pitcher in her career.
Club: Played for the Colorado Springs Thunder, coached by her father Brent... Led the team to multiple USSSA, Triple Crown and ASA state tournaments.
Personal: Is majoring in psychology... Daughter of Denise and Brent Mrofcza... Older brother is Brock... Is currently looking at medical programs after finishing her undergraduate degree to possibly get into dentistry as a dental hygienist or get involved in the medical field in some way... Enjoys hiking and doing anything outdoors... Likes to spend time with family and friends as much as I can as well.
Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because I really enjoy the environment around CMU. There are many things to do outdoors because it is a beautiful area. It was a good distance from home, but I was also able to keep the amazing scenery."
