Maverick Gameday
The inaugural episode of Maverick Gameday aired on Saturday prior to the football game with Western Colorado. Maverick Gameday is a new show that will be aired on Football Gameday's this fall and hosted by Titus Cleveland with analysts Jeff Hinkle, Jackson Cowen and Dean 'The Machine' Allen. They will dive into all things Colorado Mesa Football and welcome in a guest for an interview each week.
 
Next episode is scheduled to air on Saturday October 3 at Noon.
 
Episodes will be available on YouTube and the RMAC Network.
 
Tickets, Tickets, Tickets
Tickets are available for all Colorado Mesa athletic events this fall. You can buy them online at CMUMavericks.com/tickets or in person at the ticket booth at each Maverick Athletic Venue. Fans are strongly encouraged to buy online to avoid the lines.
 
Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff for football games and 60 minutes for all other events unless noted.

Football (2-2, 1-1 RMAC)

• Vigil named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week after career-high 17 tackles against South Dakota Mines • STORY
• Turnovers prove costly in loss to #8 Western Colorado • RECAP
• Colorado Mesa will head back out on the road for its second straight matchup with a nationally ranked opponent. This time they will travel to the Steel City and face off with CSU Pueblo on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 2:00 PM.

Volleyball (9-3, 3-1 RMAC)

• Mavs pull reverse sweep to take down defending national champions • RECAP
• Mavs clipped in Colorado Springs • RECAP
• Colorado Mesa will have their week split on the road and at home. They will travel to Gunnison for a battle with Western Colorado on Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM before returning home for an afternoon tilt with Westminster on Saturday at 3:00 PM in Brownson Arena.
• Both matches are in a RMAC Regional Pod, but do not count towards the RMAC standings, which see the Mavs as part of a 6-way tie for first at 3-1.

Men's Soccer (2-1-4, 0-0-0 RMAC)

• Mavs and Skyhawks battle to 1-1 draw • RECAP

• Colorado Mesa will host a pair of nationally-ranked Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference foes this week in Grand Junction as they open conference play. First up will be #3 UCCS on Thursday at 7:00 PM before a Sunday matinee battle with #21 CSU Pueblo at Noon from Community Hospital Unity Field.

Women's Soccer (4-2, 2-0 RMAC)

• Mavs tame Cougars for first RMAC win • RECAP

• The Mavericks will finally host their home opener on Friday as they welcome in Fort Lewis on Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM.
• The Mavs will also play at Western Colorado in Gunnison on Sunday at 1:00 PM
• Be on the lookout also as Colorado Mesa will host defending NCAA National Champion Florda Tech on Friday October 2 at 7:00 PM.

Triathlon

• The Mavericks will host the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup on Sunday at Highline State Park in Loma. The traditional powers of collegiate triathlon are scheduled to compete in the annual event.
• The Mavericks are ranked 13^th overall and third amongst Division II teams in the initial regular season edition of CTCA National Rankings • STORY
• No. 1 ranked Arizona State highlights the field for Sunday's race, which will feature three of the fop five and five of the top nine teams in the country.

Cross Country

• MEN: Mav men fare well in season-opener • RECAP
• WOMEN: 14^th-ranked Maverick women turn in impressive effort in season-opening meet • RECAP
• Colorado Mesa will be off until their most important meet of the regular season when they travel to Lawrence, Kansas for the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet on Sunday, October 11.

Women's Tennis

• The Maverick women will play their only two duals of the fall season on Saturday in Colorado Springs.  They will take on Fort Hays State at 11 a.m. and Colorado College at 2:30 p.m.

Men's Tennis

• Colorado Mesa will be off until they travel to Topeka, Kansas for the Washburn Invitational on Oct. 2-3.
