PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Colorado Mesa women's basketball player
Olivia Reed Thyne was named to the NCAA All-Tournament team after her play in the NCAA Elite Eight Tournament last week at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
Reed Thyne averaged 34.5 points and 14.5 rebounds in the Mavericks two games in the NCAA Elite Eight Tournament. She shot 65 percent from the field and was 28 points shy of the NCAA Division II record for points in a tournament.
For the entire NCAA Tournament (includes the South Central Regional Tournament), the Windsor, Colo. native averaged 28.6 points and 14 rebounds per game.
