The All-American teams for both the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and D2 Conference Commissioners (D2CCA) were announced this week with the Elite Eight going on at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Olivia Reed Thyne was named to the First Team on both lists after her record-breaking season. The Windsor, Colo. native is averaging a career best 22.6 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game during her final season with the Mavericks. Since the postseason started, she is averaging 30.9 points and 13.7 rebounds per game.

She broke the Mavericks and RMAC all-time and single-season records for scoring and rebounds this year with 2,456 points and 1,417 rebounds (and counting) in her career and 860 points and 443 rebounds (and counting).

This is her third WBCA All-American honor and her second honor from the D2CCA.

Reed Thyne and the Mavericks will face Indiana (Pa.) in the NCAA National Semifinals this evening with tip-off scheduled for 4:00pm MDT.
