Olivia Reed Thyne was named the offensive player of the week for her efforts against MSU Denver and Regis last week on the road.
The Windsor, Colo. native averaged 29 points and 12.5 rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent from the field in the two games. She had 29 points and 16 rebounds in the Mavericks win over MSU Denver before scoring 29 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the win over Regis.
On the season, Reed Thyne is now averaging 20.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. She has scored double figures in 23 of 25 games this season and now has 96 double figure scoring games in her career.
This is the second time she has earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors along with earning RMAC Defensive Player of the Week four times earlier this season.
Reed Thyne and the Mavericks will be back in action in Brownson Arena this week as they host Fort Lewis and New Mexico Highlands.
