COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released their preseason coaches' poll and preseason All-RMAC teams for Men's Basketball on Tuesday (Oct. 21) afternoon.
Colorado Mesa was picked to finish third in the 15-team conference as they received 158 total points including one first place vote, three second place votes, and six third place votes. The Mavericks are coming off a season where they finished 19-10 overall and 13-7 in the conference.
Black Hills State is the preseason favorite as they garnered 183 total points including 10 first place votes with Colorado School of Mines projected second with 167 points and three first place votes. UCCS was picked fourth (144) followed by Fort Lewis (143), and MSU Denver (137) to round out the top six teams.
Redshirt senior
Ty Allred was named to the Preseason All-RMAC Team after an All-RMAC First Team performance in his junior season. Allred averaged 14.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while hitting 37.5 percent of his three-point attempts during the 2024-25 season. The Mona, Utah native had a season-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting against UCCS on December 5 and recorded his first double-double on January 11 against Adams State, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Joining Allred on the Preseason All-RMAC team is sophomore guard
Harvey White. The Adelaide, Australia native played in 27 games and made 20 starts and averaged 9.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists in his first collegiate season. White scored a season-high 25 points on 9-of-11 shooting against Emporia State on November 23 and had a season-high eight assists against UCCS on December 5.

Colorado Mesa will tip the season off on the road as they travel to Dallas, Texas for the D2 Conference Challenge event. They are scheduled to take on Dallas Baptist on Friday November 14 before a matchup with St. Edward's on Saturday November 15.
