Teammate
Heather Yackey, who continues to hold the CMU school record of 46.77 meters (153-6) by just a single centimeter competed on Saturday, finishing third with a effort of 46.34 meters (152-0).
They were the only two Mavericks competing in the meet.
CMU plans to send a larger contingent to another last chance meet next week in Azusa, California.
