Holcomb and Brummett have been CMU's top scorers throughout the season. Holcomb leads the Mavericks and ranks second in the RMAC with 55 points and leads the RMAC with 31 assists. Holcomb has two seven-point games this season against Dominican and CUI and twice this season has tied the single-game program record with five assists in a single game. This is Holcomb's fourth straight First Team All-RMAC selection.
Brummett is CMU's leading goal scorer, finding the back of the net 48 times in 14 games this season. The junior got off to a blazing start this season, scoring eight goals in CMU's season opener against Dominican, and has scored five goals or more in five games this year. One goal behind Westminster's Merritt McMahon for the RMAC lead, Brummett's 48 goals are already the fourth-most in a single season in program history, 15 behind the program record of 63 set by JJ's brother Jed last season.
JJ Brummett receives the first first-team selection of his career after making the second team in 2023.
Dillon Pless earns his first All-RMAC selection after scoring 15 goals in his sophomore campaign. Pless authored the biggest moment of the regular season for CMU, scoring the overtime game-winning goal over Westminster at home on March 24. Pless scored a hat trick against nationally ranked Florida Southern, scored twice in both games against Westminster and scored in both games against third-place CUI.
Riley Fisher improves to a first team pick after being an All-RMAC Honorable Mention selection last season. Fisher, a redshirt senior from Littleton, Colorado, is an anchor for a Colorado Mesa defense which held opponents to an RMAC-low 8.82 goals per game and held RMAC opponents to under five goals on three occasions. Fisher compiled 14 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
Deuce Kirschke earns the first All-RMAC recognition of his career, operating as a short stick defensive midfielder. Kirschke racked up 19 ground balls and five caused turnovers, including seven ground balls in two games against CUI. He also got forward offensively to score three goals with one assist, including a game-winning goal against Lewis.
Trey Corkin III is CMU's final first-team honoree, returning to all-conference honors after a previous first team nod in 2022. Corkin III established himself as one of the league's best ball-hawkers in 2024, ranking second in the league with 71 ground balls and in a three-way tie for the RMAC lead with 26 caused turnovers. Corkin III won two RMAC Defensive Player of the Week awards this season on February 28 and April 1.
Micah Payton earns a second team nod after a breakout senior season. Payton, who hadn't recorded more than 13 points in any of his previous three college seasons, scored 15 goals and ranked second on the team and in the conference with 22 assists.
James Steinke earns his second straight second team selection and the fourth total All-RMAC selection of his career after first-team nods in 2021 and 2022. Steinke, who ranks second all-time in assists and fifth in points in Maverick history, missed some time with injury this season but accumulated 12 goals and 10 assists in 10 games.
Levi McCoy receives the first all-conference honor of his career after finishing fifth on the team with 14 goals in 2024. The junior and Texas native closed the season on a tear, scoring multiple goals in three of CMU's last four games, including a hat trick in the regular season finale against CSU Pueblo.
Defender
Caden Hathaway backs up his 2022 first team All-RMAC selection with a second team pick this year. Hathaway, a noted physical presence on CMU's back line, racked up 12 caused turnovers to rank second on the team behind Corkin III and also has 25 ground balls.
Dylan Checketts rounds out the Mavericks' all-conference honorees with a second team selection in the faceoff circle. Checketts ranked third in the RMAC among qualifying face-off men with a .581 winning percentage and ranked third in the conference with 4.5 ground balls per game.
