Career Synopsis: Ended his career as the Mavs' all-time record holder for points with 189... Also scored a program-record 19 man-up goals... Ended his career with 81 assists, second most in program history... Finished fourth in CMU history for career goals (108)Â and total shots (307) while ranking third for shots on goal (212).
2024 (Redshirt Senior): Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors… Named as the RMAC Tournament MVP and to the all-tournament team for the third straight season… Scored the tournament-winning goal in overtime against CUI on Apr. 27… Scored seven goals and registered eight offensive points in the Mavs’ two RMAC Tournament wins… Became the fifth Maverick to reach the 100 goal milestone in the semifinal win over Adams State… Became the Mavs’ all-time points record holder in the championship game against CUI… Recorded six hat tricks, finishing his career with five straight… Had three 4-goal efforts… Scored 24 goals overall while recording 13 assists in 13 games played… Was 10
th in the RMAC statistics for goals per game (1.85)… Took 60 shots, 40 of which were on goal… Scored seven man-up goals to lead the team while ranking second in the RMAC… Also ranked 21

2023 (Redshirt Junior): Named as an Honorable Mention All-American by the USILA for the second consecutive season… Also earned a similar honor from the
USA Lacrosse Magazine… Tabbed as a Third Team USILA All-South Region player… Was a Second Team All-RMAC selection on the conference level after scoring 34 goals and recording 23 assists… Was third on the team and fourth in the RMAC for goals… His goal-scoring haul was tied for eighth in program history… Also ranked third in the conference for assists and fourth for points… His 57 points are the tenth most in program history… Took 98 shots to rank fourth in the RMAC… Put 68 of those on goal… Had at least two offensive points in 17 of the Mavs’ 18 games… Also tallied 31 ground balls and nine caused turnovers… Scored a season-high four goals in the RMAC Tournament Championship win over Westminster en-route to RMAC All-Tournament honors… Also had three points (1G, 2A) in the semifinal win over Adams State… Recorded six hat-tricks and six other 2-goal games… Scored four man-up goals... 2022 (Redshirt Sophomore): Earned USILA Honorable Mention All-America honors alongside teammate Dylan Checketts, as just the second and third Mavericks to ever receive such recognition… Was a Second Team USILA All-South Region pick... Named as a RMAC Co-Midfielder of the Year alongside teammates Sergio Pelayo and Trent Pernell and Adams State’s Jacob Austin… Named to the First Team All-RMAC squad for the second straight year… Selected to the RMAC All-Tournament Team… Was a First Team RMAC All-Academic pick for the second straight year… Named as the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week three times in the month of March (Mar. 2, 21, 28)… Set a former school-record by recording 28 assists.. Was ranked second in the RMAC and third in the conference for assists per game (1.56)… Was tied with teammate AJ Switzer for the RMAC lead in total goals (33) and goals per game (1.83)… Was second in the conference for total points (61) and third for points per game (3.39)… His 61 points are the sixth most in a CMU history for a single-season… Took 100 shots to rank third in the conference and seventh for shots per game (5.56)… Put 68 of his shots on goal… Was second on the team with seven man-up goals… Credited with the game winner in a 21-5 win over Coker (Feb. 14)… Also tallied 41 ground balls and six caused turnovers, defensively… Played in all 18 games, making three official starts… Scored in 17 of those games, including each of the team’s first 13 games… Recorded five hat-tricks and 11 multiple-goal games… Had a career-high five assists and seven points in a Feb. 27 win over Westminster… Scored five goals and eight total points in the Mavs’ RMAC Tournament victories, netting a hat trick in the semifinals against CSU Pueblo.
2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Named as the RMAC Midfielder of the Year and to the First Team All-RMAC squad… Also received RMAC All-Academic First Team plaudits… Played in all 11 games… Scored 12 goals and 15 assists, good for 27 offensive points… Was second on the team for assists and tied for second for total points… Was tied for third in the RMAC for assists and ranked fourth with his 1.36 per game average… Was tied for seventh with his 2.45-point per game average… One of his goals was man-up… Had at least one offensive point in all 11 games, recording a season-high six on Apr. 25 against Adams State… Also had one of his four 2-goal efforts against the Grizzlies… Finished with 35 shots, 25 of which were on goal… Finished with 18 ground balls and three caused turnovers.
2020 (Freshman): Played in six games during the pandemic-shortened season… Scored five goals while assisting on two others to finish with seven points… Took 14 shots, 11 of which were on goal.

Personal: Is majoring in finance… Son of Mark and Lisa Steinke… Has on older brother Michael and a relative Haley, who plays soccer at Missouri.
