COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced their weekly baseball players of the week on Tuesday (Apr. 23) afternoon. Colorado Mesa's Paul Schoenfeld was named the RMAC Player of the Week after his performance in the series at UCCS.
 
Schoenfeld batted .643 (9-for-14) in the series win over the Mountain Lions. He added six runs scored, two doubles, a home run and 12 runs driven while having a 1.600 OPS over the weekend. In game two of the series, he went 4-for-4 with two runs scored, four runs driven in, and a double.
 
The junior joined his outfield mate Rob Sharrar as RMAC Players of the Week from the Mavericks this season. Sharrar won the award three consecutive weeks earlier in the season.
 
Schoenfeld and the Mavericks will take on New Mexico Highlands this weekend in Grand Junction. Friday night's game will be the annual Fireworks Game beginning at 7pm at Suplizio Field.
