GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Colorado Mesa head women's golf coach Kyle Daniell announced his resignation late last week following two years as the head of the program. Daniell took over for previous coach Scott Hansen just prior to the beginning of the 2021-22 season.
Daniell led the team for the past two seasons and has three team scores that are among the all-time best scores for the program including a 296 at last season's Wasatch Invitational in Salt Lake City. He led the Mavericks to a pair of top-5 finishes at the RMAC Championships and six top-3 finishes at tournaments throughout the 2022-23 season.
The Mavericks return All-RMAC selections
Cassidy Phelan and
Sadie Kelley among others from last year's team that finished third at the RMAC Championships.
The search for the next head coach will commence in the coming days.
