The Mavs secured two big wins on the road against Western Colorado University this weekend.

Both games were highly physical and spirited, delighting the large raucous crowds. On Friday the Mavs peppered 70 shots at the Western net securing a decisive 8-2 win. CMU goalie
Chris McElroy continued is strong play this season notching the victory.
Mason Ripley and
Eli Wilson each potted 2 goals, while single tallies went to
Jared Riley,
Colton Wurzer-Seepers,
Collin Fitzgerald, and
Bryson Sutterby.
On Saturday the Mavs kept up their strong play in front of CMU goalie
Jacob Babin securing a 13-3 win. Wilson netted a hat-trick, while Sutterby and
Mitchell Rodvold each had 2 goals. Single goals went to Ripley, Riley, Fitzgerald,
Ethan Gotchey, and brothers Shjon and
Seth Kern.
The Mavs, sitting at 8-7 on the season, are back at home this weekend on Friday and Saturday against UCCS looking to continue their winning streak.
