CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Colorado Mesa women's golf team played a pair of consistent rounds at the RMAC Golf Championships at Ocotillo Golf Course. The Mavericks finished fourth in the field of 12 teams at the Championships.
 
Colorado Mesa shot 321 in their first round of action on Monday and followed that up with a 320 in today's (Apr. 25) final round. They were seven strokes behind third place UCCS and seven strokes in front of fifth place Colorado Christian.
 
Hannah More was the top placing golfer for the Mavericks. More finished in a tie for ninth place with a 14-over, 158 in her two rounds. She made two birdies in today's final round.
 
Last year's RMAC Individual Champion, Taylor Walters, finished as the Mavericks number two golfer with a 15-over, 159, good enough for a tie for 11^th place. The Rifle product shot a 77 in her first round and followed with an 82.
 
CSU-Pueblo's Jacquelyn Porman won the individual medalist honors with a 3-over, 147 for the tournament.
 
Regis won the team title with a 616.
 
The Mavericks will await word from the NCAA Regional Committee if the team or any individuals qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
