SAN DIEGO – The Colorado Mesa University men's and women's tennis teams each fell at Point Loma Tuesday (March 22).

The men lost 8-1 and the women lost 9-0.

The men's lone win came at No. 3 doubles where Lucas Martin and Alain De La Bastide defeated Grant Alston and Tim Soderman 8-5.

Lucas Martin nearly pulled off the win at No. 4 singles falling in three sets 6-2, 4-6, 10-5.

In the women's match, Katie Kirby and Kristen Kirby lost at No. 1 singles 8-4.

Kristen Kirby fell 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.

Colorado Mesa will play at Colorado College March 31.
