SEASIDE, Calif. – The Colorado Mesa women's golf team opened the spring season with a ninth-place finish at the Otter Invitational at Bayonet Golf Club, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay.
The Mavericks tied with Western Washington with a 72-over, 648. They finished four strokes behind Cal State Monterey Bay and 11 strokes behind seventh place Academy of Art.
Sophomore
Megan Liborio finished with an 18-over, 162 to place 36
th in the 18 team invite. Liborio improved her first-round score by two strokes with an 80 on Tuesday.
Randi Kim led the Mavericks after day one with a 6-over, 78 but had a rough day two and finished in a tie for 62
nd place with a 168.
Dallas Baptist won the team title with Patriot Ann Parmerter winning the individual medalist honor with a 5-over, 149.
Colorado Mesa will head to Arizona on April 3 when they compete in the Desert Invitational in Tucson.
