COACHING
Head coach
Taylor Wagner is in his fifth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed a 115-25 record and has won three RMAC Championships during his tenure. In his time, the Mavericks are 63-5 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.
70 POINTS
Colorado Mesa is 10-1 when they reach the 70 point mark this season. Their lone loss was a 76-71 setback to Regis back on January 7.
DOWN LOW
Junior forward
Ma'ata Epenisa is the Mavericks third leading scorer at 10.4 points per game. She would lead the RMAC in field goal percentage (69.2%) but is just short of qualifying for the mark.
STREAK SNAPPED
Senior
Bryanna Adams snapped a streak of 20 consecutive games scoring in double-digits when she scored just one point in the loss to Black Hills State. The RMAC scoring leader rebounded by scoring 14 in the win over South Dakota Mines.
STANDINGS
Colorado Mesa remain in third place in the standings after the weekend split in South Dakota. CSU-Pueblo has a strangle hold on the top spot but second place through fifth place are seperated by just a game and a half.
UP NEXT
The Mavericks will head out on their final road trip of the regular season when they take on Adams State and Fort Lewis next weekend.
