DENVER, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa University women's golf team competed in the Regis Invitational (RMAC #1) this week at Murphy Creek Golf Course, a par 72, 6,155-yard course.
 
The Mavericks finished in fourth place with a two-round score of 631. They finished five strokes behind Regis and MSU Denver who finished in a tie for second and 12 strokes behind tournament champion Cal State Monterey Bay.
 
Sophomore Megan Liborio led the Mavericks as she tied for sixth place with an 11-over, 155. Liborio shot 80 in her opening round before rebounding with a 3-over, 75 in her final round.
 
Freshman Randi Kim shot almost the opposite of Liborio. Kim shot a 2-over, 74 in her opening round before firing an 83 in her final round to place ninth in the tournament.
 
MSU Denver's Jennifer Haskins won the individual medalist honor with a 4-under, 140.
 
The Mavericks will head to Goodyear, Ariz. next weekend for the WNMU Fall Invitational.
