PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Western New Mexico in the finals of the RMAC Tournament Saturday (April 23) to finish second.
 
The Mavericks opened the match by winning one of their doubles matches.
 
The No. 2 team of Cody Freischlag and Trevor Brown notched an 8-5 win against JeanLaurant Pageault and Liam Fraboulet.
 
Spencer Weinberg won against No. 50 ranked Pageault at No. 1 singles.
 
Western New Mexico won at No. 2, 3 and 6 singles to clinch the win.
 
Andres Garcia-Rojas fell in three sets to Tristan Da Lio 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 and Freischlag fell 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3.
 
Colorado Mesa finished their season with an overall record of 17-11.
