Complete ResultsCHADRON, NEB. – Colorado Mesa University collected three pódium finishes on the final day of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday (Feb. 27).
Bacall Sterling posted the highest finish on the day placing second in the triple jump with a season-best and provisional qualifying leap of 38-11.
Gabriella Casey broke her own school record in the pole vault to finish third with a height of 11-4.25.
Andy Bowles made the podium for the second time at the championships after placing third in the 60 hurdles in 8.31.
Mekayla Winchester finished fourth in the women's 60 hurdles (8.95), and
John Cusick was fourth in the 800 (1:54.70).
Nolan Ellis finished fourth in the men's pole vault (15-2.25), and
Ryan Reasoner placed sixth in the heptathlon (4,325 points).
Heidi Weber placed eighth in the 400 (58.76), and
Lauren Lipski was eighth in the 3,000 (10:25.58).
In the 4x400 relays, the women finished seventh (4:00.11), and the men placed eighth (3:30.51).
The men finished seventh in the team standings with 36.5 points and the women finished eighth with 40 points.Â
