Colorado Mesa will close out 2016 with a single game at MSU Denver Dec. 30th. CMU is currently on a two-game skid after dropping games at CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands before the holiday break. Kabir West rejoined the Mavericks after taking the first semester off. The Brooklyn, N.Y., native came off the bench to score 12 points at CSU-Pueblo. He followed up with 17 points shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-5 from deep at New Mexico Highlands.Â
Free Throws
The Mavericks posted its best weekend from the line before the break. CMU shot a season-high 77-percent (21-27) against CSUP. CMU followed up with a season-high for the second straight night shooting 83-percent (10-12) at New Mexico Highlands.Â
James Sylvester tied his season-high making 8-of-9 free throws at CSUP.Â

Connor Nichols blocked a career-high three shots at CSU-Pueblo. He also scored nine points and grabbed two rebounds against the Thunderwolves.Â
Assists
CJ Davis dished out a career-high five assists at New Mexico Highlands. His previous high of four assists was also set against New Mexico Highlands last season.Â
Rebounds
Brandon Hoffer tied his career-high by grabbing seven rebounds at CSU-Pueblo. The last time he grabbed seven rebounds was against Regis in 2016.Â
