Ryan Stephan continues his stellar season. The Lakewood, Colo., native ranks in the top-25 in nine different categories. He leads the nation in double-doubles with 10, ranks second in defensive rebounds per game (8.8), fourth in free throws made (122), fifth in free throw attempts (150), fifth in points per game (25.3), sixth in total points (379), sixth in total rebounds (166) and 12th in total field goals made (122). Sharp Shooting
The Mavericks set season-highs for both free throws and 3-pointers last week. CMU shot a season-high .500 (7-14) from behind the arc in the win at MSUD. The Mavs previous best was .481 against CCU. Mesa shot a season-high .917 (11-12) from the line in a loss at UCCS. The team's previous best was .857 in a loss vs. Eastern New Mexico.
3-Point Shooting
CJ Davis is one of the best 3-point shooters in the league this season. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native ranks second in the RMAC and 12th nationally in 3-point attempts at 124. He ranks third in the conference and 25th in the nation in 3-point field goals made with 45.
Blocks
CMU blocked a season-high five blocks in the win at MSUD. The team's previous high was three against Webber International and South Dakota Mines.
Rebounds
CMU's win at MSUD was the first this season when the Mavericks were out-rebounded. Mesa is 7-2 this season when it has more rebounds than its opponents and 1-4 when its opponents have more rebounds. CMU leads the RMAC and ranks 18th in Div. II in defensive rebounds averaging 29.13 per game.

CMU will play games at Regis and Chadron State Jan. 22-23.
