Ryan Stephan leads the RMAC in field goal percentage (.579) and total field goals made (184). The Lakewood, Colo., native ranks second in the league in five categories; total points (528), points per game (25.1), total rebounds (168), rebounds per game (8.0) and defensive rebounds per game (6.29). Stephan scored 41 points over the weekend to move up to eighth in career scoring with 1,151 points.
Holy Hawley
Sophomore
Nate Hawley scored a career-high 17 points, including a career-high five 3-pointers, against Chadron State. The Montrose, Colo., native is averaging 3.2 points per game.
Assist Machine
Freshman
Derek Biale tallied a combined 10 assists and four turnovers in the Mavericks pair of wins last week. The Redondo Beach, Calif., native leads the RMAC and ranks 15th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.86). He ranks fifth in the league in assists per game with 4.5.
RMAC Playoffs
Colorado Mesa will secure a RMAC playoff spot with a win this weekend and a Black Hills State loss. CMU is currently sixth in the RMAC standings with an 11-6 record. The Mavericks are two games behind fourth place and the right to host a first round home playoff game.
Free Throws
Colorado Mesa shot a season-high 88-percent (12-14) from the free throw line in the win against Chadron State.
Overtime Game
Colorado Mesa rallied from a 28 point second half deficit against Black Hills State and defeated the Yellow Jackets 83-75 in overtime. The overtime game was the first for the Mavericks since Feb. 28, 2015 when it fell at Adams State 87-82.

Colorado Mesa will hit the road for its final road game of the regular season when it faces Western State Feb. 21.
